Berkeley Campus

We are pleased to announced the kickoff event for the new class series at the COTNC Berkeley Campus:   COTNC Chancellor Dr. David Shoemaker will present a public lecture entitled, "The System of the A.'.A.'.".   In this informative and entertaining presentation, Dr. Shoemaker will discuss the major training "tracks" within Aleister Crowley's magical Order known as the A.'.A.'., and show how they develop across the First Order Grades, culminating with the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel.

Dr. Shoemaker's subsequent monthly classes will develop the major themes from this initial lecture in much greater detail, with ample opportunity for discussion and exploration.   Topics will include:

--Magical ritual techniques

--Control of the astral body

--Raja Yoga, including posture, breathing and concentration techniques

--Kundalini

--Devotional practices

TIME:  The inaugural lecture will take place on Thursday, April 29, from 6:00 - 7:45 pm, and the subsequent classes will follow on the 4th Thursday of every month.
